Une entreprise de premier plan dans le secteur de l'infrastructure hydraulique recherche un estimateur mécanique senior pour rejoindre son équipe de pré-construction. Ce rôle offre l'opportunité de travailler sur des projets clés qui façonneront l'infrastructure de l'eau au Royaume-Uni au cours des cinq prochaines années. Les candidates doivent être basés au Royaume-Uni et prêts à voyager occasionnellement.

Qualifications

• Expérience en estimation dans le secteur de l'eau requise.
• Expérience de projets d'eau potable/污水 nécessaires.
• Capacité à analyser et établir des devis précis.

Responsibilities

• Développer des estimations pour des projets mécaniques de 5M à 250M £.
• Passer en revue les documents techniques pour établir des modèles de coût.
• Assurer liaison avec les fournisseurs et les sous-traitants.

Job Description:

? Home-based with occasional travel

We’re working with a Tier 1 contractor delivering major water infrastructure projects as part of AMP8. They’re expanding their pre-construction team and looking for an experienced Senior Mechanical Estimator to join them on a remote basis.

? What you’ll do:

• Develop bottom-up and top-down estimates for mechanical works (£5m–£250m projects)
• Review drawings, specs & scoping docs to build accurate cost models
• Liaise with suppliers and subcontractors
• Benchmark using cost curves and SORs
• Support pricing strategy, risk identification, and tender preparation

? What you’ll need:

• Mechanical discipline background + estimating experience in the water sector
• Experience working on clean/wastewater or capital maintenance schemes
• Familiarity with NEC contracts & estimating tools (CCS Candy = bonus)
• Great commercial awareness + strong attention to detail
