Job summary

Matchtech is seeking a Mechanical/Valve Engineer to support Hinkley Point C, one of Europe’s largest clean energy projects. You will provide technical authority for industrial valves across the full project lifecycle from design through commissioning.

The ideal candidate has a degree in mechanical or nuclear engineering, experience in regulated sectors, and strong leadership. English fluency is essential; French is a strong advantage. This on-site role is based in the United Kingdom.

Qualifications

• Degree in Mechanical, Nuclear, or related engineering discipline.
• Proven background in industrial valve engineering within highly regulated sectors.
• Familiarity with valve design, qualification, supplier management, and nuclear standards.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Fluency in English; proficiency in French is a strong advantage.

What We Are Looking For
