Job summary

Hybrid Asset Solutions is seeking an experienced Lead Mechanical Engineer to become the first mechanical hire for our Southern Hub. You will deliver maintenance and compliance services across gas, plumbing and mechanical systems while helping shape our southern operation.

Your role involves hands-on engineering, client liaison, and mentoring new engineers as the team grows, with an emphasis on establishing standards and processes for future expansion in the region.

Qualifications

• 5-10 years' experience in commercial gas, plumbing and mechanical maintenance environments.
• Experience with commercial plant room systems is preferred.
• Full UK driving licence is required.
• Experience mentoring, supporting or supervising engineers is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Deliver maintenance, fault finding and repair works across commercial gas, plumbing and mechanical systems.
• Support clients across London and the South East.
• Act as a technical point of contact for engineers and operational teams.
• Carry out site surveys, inspections and asset condition reviews.
• Support mobilisation of new maintenance contracts.
