Job summary

Black & White Engineering is seeking an experienced Associate Director (Mechanical) to lead mechanical engineering delivery across multidisciplinar projects and serve as the technical authority on HVAC and critical infrastructure systems. You will influence project direction, engage clients and mentor engineering teams across multiple regions.

Qualifications

• Strong experience delivering mechanical engineering projects in a consultancy environment.
• Expertise in HVAC, cooling and critical infrastructure systems.
• Proven technical leadership and design review experience.
• Strong client-facing and stakeholder management capability.
• Experience leading multidisciplinary project teams.
• Degree-qualified in a relevant engineering discipline or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Leading mechanical engineering delivery across multidisciplinary projects.
• Providing technical oversight of HVAC, cooling and critical infrastructure systems.
• Managing project performance, quality and delivery programmes.
• Acting as a key client interface throughout project lifecycles.
• Supporting resource planning and team development.
• Reviewing and approving technical designs and engineering documentation.
• Contributing to strategic growth initiatives and business development activities.
