Aldwych Consulting is seeking an Intermediate or Senior Mechanical Engineer to join their Leicester office and help deliver mechanical building-services projects across the UK. You will collaborate with a multi-disciplinary team to design, coordinate, and deliver robust systems from concept through construction.

Ideal candidates will have experience in Building Services or MEP design, with strong HVAC knowledge and the ability to manage project workstreams.

Qualifications

• Experience within Building Services or MEP design consultancy.
• Strong understanding of mechanical building-services design.
• Experience with HVAC, ventilation, heating and cooling systems.
• Knowledge of relevant industry standards and Building Regulations.
• Experience working across different stages of the design process.
• Good communication skills and ability to work in a multidisciplinary team.
• Experience using Revit would be advantageous.

Responsabilités

• Deliver mechanical building-services design across a variety of projects.
• Produce mechanical designs, calculations, specifications, reports and technical drawings.
• Work on HVAC, ventilation, heating, cooling and public health systems.
• Take projects through RIBA stages from concept to construction.
• Collaborate with electrical engineers, architects and other design consultants.
• Attend design meetings and liaise with clients, contractors and project teams.
• Support project delivery, ensuring designs are robust and delivered to programme.
• Use Revit and other design software to coordinate engineering information.
• Mentor junior team members as needed.
