Job summary

Eadon Consulting Limited based in Sheffield is seeking an Engineer to join our team to tackle complex projects across bridges, nuclear, water, clean energy and specialist mechanical equipment. You will work with engineers and designers to check designs using engineering fundamentals, while producing 3D CAD models and manufacturing drawings in SolidWorks.

Qualifications

• Enthusiasm for solving engineering problems and willingness to own development.
• Solid technical grasp of first principles engineering mechanics.
• Previous experience in a similar role; not suitable for recent graduates.
• Engineering degree or equivalent qualification.
• Ability to work and communicate effectively with others; self-organisation and prioritisation.

Responsibilities

• Using engineering fundamentals and mathematical ability to check that designs work.
• Producing 3D CAD models and manufacturing drawings using SolidWorks to enable the design to be made.
