You will work in a consultancy environment serving Defence, Security and Public Sector clients, with Heritage, Advanced Manufacturing, Commercial and Education projects.

The role emphasizes technical leadership, client engagement and mentoring.

Qualifications

• Extensive building services design experience.
• Proficient in IES, Revit and AutoCAD.
• Sustainability and low-carbon design expertise.
• Client-facing with stakeholder engagement.
• Towards Chartership or Chartered Engineer status.
• Experience in consultancy design and on-site surveying.
• Electrical design within building services context.
• Ability to work in environments with UK SC clearance.

Responsibilities

• Lead mechanical design on multidisciplinary projects from feasibility through commissioning.
• Deliver to programme, quality and budget expectations.
• Prepare and review calculations, specifications and reports.
• Support feasibility studies and option appraisals.
• Manage client relationships and lead technical discussions.
• Coordinate design teams and external stakeholders.
• Supervise and mentor engineers and technicians.
• Review construction progress and commissioning activities.
• Contribute to fee proposals and bid submissions.
• Support project financial performance and resource planning.
