Ernest Gordon Recruitment Limited is partnering with a multi-million-pound building services contractor to appoint a Mechanical Design Manager. This remote, Cardiff-based role offers autonomy to deliver HVAC, water and fire suppression designs for MoD, education and healthcare projects, with 39 hours per week and flexible hours.

The role requires a Mechanical Design Engineer from a building services background, responsible for designs, reviews, budgets and timelines.

Qualifications

• Relevant mechanical design experience in building services.
• Experience delivering HVAC, water, and fire suppression systems.
• Ability review designs against budget and timescales.

Responsibilities

• Design mechanical systems and prepare specifications.
• Attend site meetings and review schemes.
• Ensure designs meet budget and timescales.
• Coordinate work with remote/hybrid team and stakeholders.
