Job summary

VVB Engineering is seeking a Mechanical Engineer to provide comprehensive mechanical engineering support throughout project phases, from tendering and design to installation, testing, and commissioning.

The ideal candidate will have at least seven years of experience in a similar position, a related degree, and a strong background in managing mechanical systems within the infrastructure sector. Key responsibilities include design review, liaising with CAD/BIM teams, and ensuring compliance with HSE standards.

Qualifications

• Degree in Mechanical Engineering.
• Engineering Council Registration as Chartered Engineer.
• SMSTS and valid CSCS Card.
• Full UK driver's license.

Responsibilities

• Undertake Mechanical design review and ensure buildability.
• Manage mechanical installations and support commissioning.
• Direct liaison with CAD/BIM team and participation in design reviews.
• Develop tender and procurement scope documents.
