Job summary

AECOM seeks a Senior Mechanical Engineer to join our Buildings & Places sector, specializing in data centre design and delivery. You will lead mechanical engineering projects within multidisciplinary teams across the EMEA region and beyond.

Responsibilities include delivering complex data centre facilities for leading technology clients, mentoring teammates, and contributing to thought leadership and strategic growth within a growing practice.

Qualifications

• Working towards Chartered status Engineer or Architect.
• Experience in data centre design and project management.
• Proven experience delivering complex data centre projects.
• Strong understanding of permitting processes, building systems, regulations, and construction methodologies.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines in a dynamic environment.
• Willingness to travel as required.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills.
• Degree in Architecture, Mechanical or Electrical Engineering or related field.
• Uptime Institute Accredited Tier Designer or Accredited Tier Professional.
• Working knowledge of Revit and digital design workflows.
• A clear work history and proof of professional development and learning.

• A proven track record of successful project delivery as a Mechanical Data Centre Engineer
