Job summary

Qualifications

• Degree (or equivalent) in Mechanical Engineering.
• Incorporated Engineer alignment to IMechE or CIBSE.
• Experience in mechanical building services design.
• Knowledge of Building Regulations Part L.
• Proficiency with AutoCAD and design software (Hevacomp/IES).

Responsibilities

• Carry out detailed Mechanical Building Services design on new build and refurbishment projects.
• Assist senior staff in feasibility studies, concept and scheme design stages.
• Attend design team meetings with other staff members.
• Inspect and report on mechanical building services systems.
• Produce CAD drawings and specifications for projects.
• Ensure design and maintenance meet legislative and health and safety requirements.
• Utilise Building Services software for calculations.
• Attend project design meetings and risk workshops as required.
