Job summary

Orion Electrotech Ltd is seeking a Senior Mechanical Engineer to work on technically challenging aerospace products, including avionics and engine sensors, within a collaborative team focused on innovation, quality and continuous improvement. You will own design activities across the full product lifecycle, manage requirements, verify engineering outputs, and mentor colleagues.

Qualifications

• Requires degree in Mechanical Engineering, Design Engineering, Aerospace Engineering or similar, or equivalent experience.
• Ability to author, validate and verify engineering requirements.
• Experience leading or mentoring Mechanical Engineers.

Responsibilities

• Managing requirements, ensuring compliance, and supporting verification activities.
• Supporting Mechanical Engineers across cross-functional projects.
• Designing and developing avionics products and engine sensors throughout the product lifecycle.
• Producing work estimates and supporting project planning.
