Adeptus Talent Limited is seeking a Senior/Principal Mechanical Building Services Engineer for North Bristol in a hybrid role. The position offers a salary range of £50,000 to £65,000+ DOE, and is a full-time permanent role within a growing consultancy.

You will lead mechanical design across UK projects, oversee Stage 4 design, and mentor junior engineers, collaborating with clients, architects, and contractors to deliver high-quality outcomes.

Qualifications

• Experience delivering building services mechanical design on UK projects.
• Strong understanding of mechanical design and calculation methods.
• Experience producing technical drawings (AutoCAD essential).

Responsibilities

• Lead mechanical building services design across all RIBA stages.
• Deliver Stage 4 technical design and detailed mechanical layouts.
• Manage projects from feasibility through to completion.
• Work closely with clients, architects, contractors and multidisciplinary teams.
• Conduct site visits, surveys and inspections.

Senior Mechanical Building Services Engineer

An established and growing building services engineering consultancy in North Bristol is seeking a Senior or Principal Mechanical Design Engineer to join its close-knit team.

This is an excellent opportunity to play a key role in a small but highly successful consultancy, working on a wide range of commercial, retail, industrial and mixed-use projects across the UK.

The business has experienced strong growth since its formation and is now looking to bring in an experienced engineer to help lead projects and support the development of junior staff.

The Role

As a Senior / Principal Mechanical Engineer, you will:

• Lead mechanical building services design across all RIBA stages
• Deliver Stage 4 technical design and detailed mechanical layouts
• Manage projects from feasibility through to completion
