As a Senior Mechanical Engineer, you will be responsible for the design and development of mechanical systems for coding and marking equipment. You will conduct feasibility studies and testing on new and modified designs, work with support personnel in preparing detailed designs, testing, and prototype fabrication. Your experience with quality, reliability, materials, and manufacturing processes will be applied to product design.

This role is based in our Huntingdon office, involving both office and lab work.

In this role, a typical day will include:

• Mechanical engineering theoretical analysis where applicable
• Detail design concepts and/or final product parts using CAD (SolidWorks)
• Participating in problem-solving tasks and events
• DFMEA, GD&T, prototype development, and testing of designs

The essential requirements of the job include:

• Degree or higher in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent work experience
• Significant experience in engineering or product development
• Proficiency in CAD, ideally SolidWorks, and other engineering tools
• Technical detailing including GD&T
• Strong theoretical and practical engineering skills for designing and analyzing mechanical systems
