Job Opportunity: Mechanical Building Services Expert

This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced and client-focused mechanical building services expert to join our Edinburgh team. You will play a key role in delivering innovative mechanical design solutions for prominent building projects across the UK and worldwide.

You will work predominantly with leading corporate clients in the UK and EMEA regions, delivering cutting-edge workplaces that enable employees to excel and make a difference. The successful candidate will manage specialist engineers and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including external engineering partners, to ensure the delivery of technically excellent, profitable projects.

You will develop and nurture client relationships to maximize satisfaction and secure repeat business. Additionally, you will utilize your expertise and leadership skills to motivate and inspire less experienced engineers.

The Skills

• Degree in Building Services Engineering or related field.
• Significant experience in a Mechanical Engineering role within building services, including ventilation, cooling, air conditioning, heating systems, and public health systems design.
• Experience working in healthcare environments and knowledge of relevant technical guidance documents is advantageous.
• Proven ability to manage multiple large-scale projects and lead less experienced engineers to meet and exceed client expectations.
• Proficiency in Revit and experience in creative, sustainable, and intuitive design solutions.
• Excellent communication and project management skills, essential for this collaborative, client-focused role.
