Job Overview

Technical Leadership

• Lead and support the delivery of a variety of water and wastewater projects.
• Provide technical guidance and direction to junior engineers and technicians.
• Manage stakeholder expectations and ensure timely, accurate design deliverables.
• Conduct design reviews, quality checks, and resolve complex engineering issues.
• Travel within the UK may be required for site visits and meetings.

• Design with health, safety, and sustainability in mind.
• Ensure CDM compliance and contribute to health & safety strategies.

• Coach and mentor junior team members.
• Contribute to resource planning and team development.

Financial & Commercial Input

• Assist with project budgets and provide data for informed decision-making.

About You

• Degree or HNC in Engineering, Environmental Science, or a related field.
• Professional membership with a relevant institution or working toward chartership.
• Proven technical expertise in water/wastewater project delivery.
• Full UK driving licence.
  
  

Package

This role will be full time Monday to Friday 37 hours a week.

Southern Water operates a hybrid approach to working between our Falmer office and home.
