Job summary

STACK Infrastructure is seeking a Senior Mechanical Design Manager to act as the technical authority for its European data centre cooling strategy, standards and energy efficiency, owning mechanical plant standards and thermal performance to ensure scalable, commercially optimized designs across regions.

Qualifications

• Significant experience in mechanical engineering within mission-critical environments.
• Deep knowledge of cooling systems, energy efficiency and PUE optimisations.
• Experience reviewing consultant designs and enforcing standards.

Responsibilities

• Act as the senior mechanical technical authority for STACK EMEA.
• Own the mechanical cooling strategy and plant standards across regions.
• Define modular building blocks to support scalability and resilience.
• Review designs at key gates, ensuring compliance with standards and operability.
• Support regional teams with complex mechanical issues during delivery.
