Job summary

AFECO, part of the United Infrastructure Group, is recruiting a Senior Mechanical Design Engineer to lead mechanical design for water and wastewater assets across the project lifecycle. You will work with multi-disciplinary teams to deliver concept through to construction support and commissioning.

The role requires strong technical capability, mentoring junior engineers, and collaboration with clients and suppliers.

Qualifications

• Degree in mechanical engineering or equivalent.
• Significant experience in water or wastewater sectors.
• Experience delivering designs from concept to construction.

Responsibilities

• Lead mechanical design for water/wastewater assets across project lifecycle.
• Produce and review mechanical designs, calculations, specs, schedules and drawings.
• Ensure designs comply with standards, legislation and client specs.
