Job summary

White Label Recruitment Ltd is assisting a Wakefield-based production solutions provider to recruit a Senior Design Engineer. You will own projects from concept through to customer handover, working across mechanical, electrical and controls teams in a small, MDT group.

The role requires a strong mechanical design background, hands-on 3D modelling experience, and a proactive, problem-solving mindset in a fast-growing environment.

Qualifications

• Strong mechanical design background covering concept, design, prototype, build and handover.
• Experience with 3D modelling in SolidWorks or Inventor is essential.
• Experience in a smaller engineering environment with cross-discipline involvement is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Take technical ownership from concept through to handover.
• Collaborate with mechanical, electrical and controls teams to coordinate delivery.
• Design bespoke mechanical solutions for complex, demanding applications.
• Contribute to pre-sales activities and shape opportunities early.
