Job summary

Dennis Eagle in Warwick is seeking a Senior Mechanical Design Engineer to join our Chassis Team. You will design and develop mechanical systems from concept through production, translating requirements into robust solutions and delivering high-quality drawings and documentation.

You will collaborate across functions to meet time, cost and quality targets, support product launches, and investigate issues with root cause analysis. A strong background in automotive engineering is preferred.

Qualifications

• Degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent.
• Significant mechanical design experience in automotive/environment.
• Experience from concept through production.
• Proficient in CAD and engineering drawings per BS8888.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop systems and components from concept to production.
• Translate requirements into robust engineering solutions.
• Produce high-quality drawings, models and documentation.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to meet time, cost and quality.
• Support product launches and resolve production or in-service issues.
• Investigate field issues, perform root cause analysis and implement fixes.
• Contribute to validation activities ensuring standards and performance.
