Job summary

Dennis Eagle is seeking a Mechanical Design Engineer to join the Chassis Team in Warwick. The role involves designing and developing systems and components from concept to production, creating engineering drawings and 3D models, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver robust design solutions.

The candidate should have mechanical engineering qualifications (HNC/HND/Apprenticeship) and experience in engineering environments, preferably automotive.

Qualifications

• HNC/HND/Apprenticeship or equivalent in Mechanical Engineering.
• Experience in engineering role applying principles to real-world design, development, manufacturing or product support activities.
• Relevant industry experience, ideally in automotive or related sectors.

Responsibilities

• Contribute to the design and development of systems and components from concept through to production.
• Produce and develop engineering drawings, 3D models and supporting documentation to a high standard.
• Work with cross-functional teams to understand requirements and deliver effective design solutions.
• Support product launches and provide input to resolve production and in-service issues.
• Investigate technical issues, perform root cause analysis and implement robust solutions.
• Apply engineering best practice ensuring quality, compliance and attention to detail throughout the design process.
