Cirrus Selection Limited in Ampthill, Bedfordshire, seeks a Senior Mechanical Design Engineer to develop precision components and mechanical sub-systems from concept to detailed CAD, prototyping and testing, ensuring high-integrity designs for demanding applications.

The role requires CREO Parametric CAD and Windchill PDM experience, plus structural/kinematic calculations and collaboration with design authorities and manufacturing teams.

Qualifications

• Proven experience designing mechanical components and sub-systems.
• Experience with CREO Parametric CAD and Windchill PDM.

Responsabilités

• Develop innovative mechanical designs from requirements and specifications.
• Produce complex parametric designs using CREO CAD.
• Carry out basic structural and kinematic calculations.
• Design components and mechanisms for challenging environments.
• Collaborate with design authorities and manufacturing teams.
• Produce drawings and design review packs.
• Support prototype manufacture, testing and verification.
• Ensure compliance with engineering standards and safety requirements.
