Job summary

Dynamite Recruitment Solutions Ltd in Kent (Tonbridge & Malling) is seeking a Senior Mechanical Engineer to lead mechanical building services design on high‑end projects within a relaxed, supportive team and a hybrid working setup. You’ll work on heating, cooling, ventilation and domestic water, perform mechanical calculations with Cymap/IES, and produce designs in AutoCAD with Revit experience valued.

A Mechanical Engineering degree and professional status are advantageous.

Qualifications

• Strong mechanical building services design experience.
• Experience with IES, Cymap and AutoCAD.
• Mechanical Engineering degree or equivalent.
• CIBSE membership / Chartered status advantageous.
• Revit / AutoCAD 3D experience beneficial.
• Ground or air-source / renewables experience advantageous.
• Positive, practical and collaborative approach.

Responsibilities

• Full mechanical services design – heating, cooling, ventilation and domestic water.

• Managing your own projects and resolving technical design challenges.
• Producing designs using AutoCAD, with Revit experience advantageous.
• Attending project meetings and liaising with clients when required.

Are you a Mechanical Building Services Engineer looking for interesting, high–end projects without the high–pressure consultancy culture?
We're recruiting for an established M&E Building Services Design Consultancy that has been operating for over 40 years. With an incredibly long–standing team, a relaxed working environment and genuine progression opportunities, this is a business people join and stay with.
You'll work on an impressive portfolio of projects including luxury residential developments, prestigious hotels, large country estates and high–end commercial spaces, alongside renewable technologies including air and ground–source systems.

What we're looking for:

You'll be an experienced Mechanical Building Services Engineer who is confident, technically capable and comfortable working independently.
Ideally you'll have:

• Mechanical Engineering degree or equivalent
• CIBSE membership / Chartered status advantageous
• Revit / AutoCAD 3D experience beneficial
• Ground or air–source / renewables experience advantageous
• A positive, practical and collaborative approach

While this is a Senior–level opportunity, we're also open to speaking with strong Intermediate Engineers ready to take the next step, with a genuine pathway towards Principal Engineer.
