  Title: Senior Mechanical Design Engineer

  Reporting To: Lead Engineer

  Purpose of Role: To design hydrogen-based equipment and support its build, ensuring safety, timeliness, and cost-effectiveness.

  Duties:

  • Lead and own project design from concept to manufacture.
  • Manage projects, including client communication and deliverables.
  • Design hydrogen-based equipment such as refuelers, fuel storage, and installations.
  • Perform calculations including flow, pressure, structural, heat transfer, and FEA.
  • Complete work packages promptly.
  • Apply ATEX knowledge.
  • Use 3D CAD for design.
  • Manage the entire product lifecycle.
  • Participate in HAZOPs and contribute to LOPAs.
  • Support junior engineering development.
  • Collaborate with controls and electrical engineers for system design.
  • Prepare part specifications and procure parts.
  • Develop technical files and O&M manuals.
  • Follow health, safety, quality, and environmental procedures.
