Job summary

Platform Recruitment is recruiting a Senior Mechanical Design Engineer in Cambridge to join a multidisciplinary team delivering precision electro–mechanical solutions for complex platforms.

You will design and deliver complex mechanical subsystems, guide product lifecycle development from concept to manufacture, prototype and test hands-on, and collaborate with engineers across disciplines to ensure robust, manufacturable designs.

Qualifications

• Background developing electro–mechanical systems, mechanisms, motors, gearboxes or actuators.
• Strong 3D CAD skills and practical prototyping experience.
• Experience taking products through full life cycle with knowledge of manufacturing techniques.
