Job summary

Carrington West is seeking a Senior Mechanical Building Services Engineer in London to lead design delivery for HVAC and Public Health systems. The role offers hybrid working and the chance to influence project outcomes while mentoring junior engineers.

You will collaborate with clients, design teams, and contractors to deliver technical solutions that meet regulatory requirements and project goals, and you’ll help develop engineering capability within project teams.

Qualifications

• Degree in Mechanical Building Services Engineering or related discipline.
• Membership of CIBSE and working towards Chartered status.
• Strong experience delivering Mechanical Building Services projects.
• Proven design experience covering HVAC and Public Health systems.
• Excellent technical detailing, specification writing and reports.

Responsibilities

• Designing and specifying mechanical building services systems, including HVAC and Public Health systems.
• Delivering high-quality engineering solutions that comply with current regulations, standards, and project requirements.
• Producing technical deliverables including calculations, specifications, reports, and design documentation.
• Working closely with clients, contractors, architects, and multidisciplinary design teams.
