Job summary

Ganymede Recruitment is seeking a Senior Mechanical Building Services Engineer in Manchester to lead the mechanical elements of multidisciplinary projects from concept through to delivery across Defence, Healthcare, Education, Rail and Transportation. The role combines technical leadership with client liaison in a hybrid working environment.

You will own design delivery, produce calculations, drawings, specifications and technical reports; manage budgets and programmes; mentor junior engineers;

• Designing HVAC, heating, ventilation and associated mechanical systems.
• Managing project budgets, programmes and technical quality.
• Acting as the technical lead for multidisciplinary project teams.
• Building strong relationships with clients, contractors and stakeholders.
• Mentoring junior engineers and providing technical guidance.
• Supporting bid submissions and business development activities.
• Managing design risk and ensuring compliance with CDM and industry standards.
