Responsibilities

  • Provide technical engineering support within Hard FM Services.
  • Conduct reactive maintenance work to meet KPIs.
  • Manage sub-contractors while ensuring compliance with safety systems.
  • Undertake AP/RP duties for the disciplines for which appointed.
  • Work 40 hours per week, Mon to Fri with a requirement to participate in the out of hours on call rota and be able to respond/attend site within one hour of the call.

Senior Mechanical Building Services Engineer

Join to apply for the Senior Mechanical Building Services Engineer role at Equans UK & Ireland.

We currently have an exciting opportunity for a Senior Mechanical Building Services Engineer to join our facilities team at West Middlesex University Hospital in Isleworth. This is a permanent full-time position working 40 hours per week, from 0800 to 1700, Mon to Fri.

The role
  • Reporting to the Maintenance Supervisor
  • Provide technical engineering support within the Hard FM Services department by carrying out preventative maintenance to deadline and maintaining paperwork to support PPM activities
  • Respond to reactive and emergency faults and conduct reactive maintenance work to ensure compliance with KPI’s
  • Manage sub‑contractors as necessary, working to a safe system of work and permit‑to‑work system
  • Undertake AP/RP duties for the disciplines for which appointed
  • Work 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday with a requirement to participate in the out of hours on call rota and be able to respond/attend site within one hour of the call
The person
  • Must hold a recognised mechanical trade apprenticeship and/or relevant qualifications to level 3 (theory and practice) in a relevant mechanical discipline with suitable industry experience; AP in HV desirable
  • Previous supervisory and mentoring experience essential
  • Experience in building services maintenance is essential
