You will work alongside Software Development and Test teams in an Agile setting, shaping system architectures and validating design decisions.

Eligibility for UK SC security clearance, and a willingness to travel up to 20% domestically and internationally, are required.

Qualifications

• Eligibility to gain UK SC Security Clearance.
• Willingness to travel 20% within the UK and internationally.
• Experience with SysML-compliant architectural modelling tools.
• Knowledge of software solutions within a software product environment.
• Experience in modelling to capture the system design.
• Familiarity with interpreting MBSE diagrams.
• Excellent communication skills across departments.

Responsibilities

• Work under the guidance of the System Design Authority and collaborate with Software Development and Test teams in an Agile environment.
• Champion the modelling process within the Systems team and contribute to Satellite Communications solutions.
• Contribute to all stages of the modelling development lifecycle.
• Highlight concerns, results and ideas from a systems design perspective.
• Work with the development team to confirm software feasibility, user requirements and solution details.
• Define and contribute to high-level software system architectural design via peer reviews.
• Understand system aspects and determine the role of software components.
• Engage in daily operations to meet critical schedules or resolve complex problems.
• Participate in retrospective reviews and bring ideas to the table.
