Job summary

Airbus Defence and Space is seeking a Systems Engineer to work on Ground Control systems for Military Satellite Communications in Portsmouth, UK. The role covers requirements analysis, IVV&T support, BOM management and architectural design choices to support bids and delivery.

You will collaborate with customers and partners and contribute to ground system level design while participating in a flexible working environment with hybrid options.

Qualifications

System of Systems or Large Scale Integration Experience
Experience of engagement with customers and partners
Working understanding of satellite control

Responsibilities

Requirements analysis, traceability and verification.
Bill of Materials / Assembly Tree Management.
Integration, Verification Validation and Test (IVV&T) support.
Problem Definition, Non-Conformance and Observation recording and tracking.
Systems Engineering inputs as required - to support planning, schedule and cost activities.
Ground System level architectural design definition and trade-offs.
Technical proposal inputs and support to bidding teams
