Job summary

Qualifications

• First degree or equivalent in a health-related subject
• Postgraduate level training in governance/healthcare or equivalent
• Experience of governance, risk and quality improvement at senior levels

Responsibilities

• Provide senior leadership for maternity governance, risk, quality and patient safety systems.
• Oversee review of incidents, complaints and audits with actionable improvement.
• Ensure compliance with national standards and regulatory requirements.
• Prepare and present governance and assurance reports to committees.
• Promote a just learning culture and psychological safety.
• Collaborate across sites to share learning and improvements.
