Job summary

Integrate Engineering Resources are seeking three experienced Materials Supervisors for an 18-month major industrial construction project in the North East. You will supervise store teams, manage receipt, inspection, storage and distribution of mechanical and electrical materials, and ensure traceability and quality in fast-moving environments.

Qualifications

• Previous Materials Supervisor or senior materials control experience on large-scale power generation, oil & gas, petrochemical or heavy industrial construction projects.
• Strong knowledge of mechanical and electrical materials and components used in industrial construction.
• Experience supervising warehouse, stores and material handling personnel.
• Understanding of material identification, traceability, preservation and inventory control.
• Experience coordinating material requirements with engineering, procurement and construction teams.
• SSSTS and CCNSG Safety Passport.

Responsibilities

• Supervise Storemen, forklift operators and material handling teams across warehouse and laydown operations.
• Oversee receipt, inspection, storage, preservation and distribution of mechanical and electrical materials.
• Coordinate material movements between warehouses, laydown areas and construction fronts.
• Maintain accurate inventory records and material control registers.
• Use SMAT or equivalent to monitor stock levels and material availability.
• Identify shortages, damaged materials, non-conformances and delivery discrepancies.
