Job summary

Integrate Engineering Resources are recruiting 3 experienced Materials Supervisors for an 18-month major industrial construction project in the North East. You will supervise receipt, inspection, storage and issue of mechanical and electrical materials across warehouses and laydown areas.

Applicants should have strong materials management experience on large-scale power generation, oil & gas, petrochemical or heavy industrial construction projects, with knowledge of M&E equipment, traceability

Qualifications

• Experience in materials management on large-scale industrial projects.
• Strong working knowledge of mechanical and electrical materials and components used in heavy industry.
• Proven ability to supervise warehouse, stores and material handling teams.

Responsibilities

• Supervise storemen, forklift operators and material handling teams across warehouses and laydown areas.
• Oversee receipt, inspection, storage, preservation and distribution of M&E materials.
• Manage materials including pipework, valves, fittings, structural supports, pumps and electrical equipment.
• Check deliveries against orders, packing lists and engineering documentation.
• Ensure identification, segregation and traceability of components.
• Coordinate material movements between warehouses, laydown areas and construction fronts.
• Monitor storage requirements for sensitive equipment and maintain inventory records.
• Use SMAT or equivalent systems to monitor stock levels and requirements.
• Identify shortages, damaged materials and discrepancies and report them.
