Job summary

Adecco Group UK & Ireland is seeking an experienced Materials Solutions Lead in Huntingdon. The role focuses on technically advanced sales, developing tailored materials solutions and driving complex opportunities from enquiry to commercial close.

Working with account managers and specialist teams, you will translate customer needs into engineering solutions while managing pricing and negotiations. A hybrid work pattern is available with 3–4 days on-site.

Qualifications

• Degree in Materials Science, Engineering or related STEM discipline.
• Significant experience in technical or solution sales within advanced materials or B2B environments.
• Proven track record of managing and closing complex, high-value sales opportunities.
• Experience leading proposals, pricing strategies, and commercial negotiations.

Responsibilities

• Manage complex, high-value opportunities from qualification to close.
• Translate customer requirements into practical materials solutions.
• Lead proposals, pricing strategies and negotiations to secure new business.
• Coordinate cross-functional teams to deliver customer solutions.
• Provide technical and commercial expertise on specialist opportunities.
