Job summary

Airbus Belfast Limited is seeking a Senior Project Engineer for Materials and Processes in Belfast. You will lead M&P activities in a production environment, drive root-cause investigations and advance composite technologies for next-gen aircraft programs.

The role requires BSc/BEng or HNC/HND with relevant M&P experience, strong leadership, and collaboration across design, manufacturing, and supply chain partners. An attractive package accompanies this position.

Qualifications

• BSc/BEng degree with 3+ years M&P experience (management or project management incl.) or HNC/HND with 5+ years M&P experience.
• Experience to technically support M&P qualifications and developments.
• Ability to support projects in an interdisciplinary environment across different levels of hierarchy.
• Demonstrated networking and technical leadership with internal or external partners.

Responsibilities

• Manage M&P activity in a production environment.
• Lead production issues for M&P technologies.
• Lead product improvement for cost or quality of parts and assemblies.
• Coordinate activities with Manufacturing Engineering and M&P.
• Support material selection and advise across Design, Manufacturing Engineering, Supply Chain and Quality.
• Build and maintain a stakeholder network with Design, Procurement and Supply Chain Quality.
• Contribute to future aircraft development programs and industrialisation projects.
