Job summary

Safran Seats GB in Wales is seeking a Materials and Processes Engineer to develop, implement and maintain materials and processes for design for manufacture and cost. You will manage specifications, support design offices, lead qualification and audits of special processes, and drive continuous improvement across Safran Seats GB products.

The role spans design and manufacturing teams with hybrid working in South Wales.

Qualifications

• Experience with metallic qualification programs for parts and assemblies.
• Experience with metal finishing processes including surface treatments.

Responsibilities

• Develop and industrialise materials and processes across Safran Seats GB.
• Governance of process qualification and control; release of engineering data.
• Support design, manufacture and audits of special processes.
• Provide timely support to supply chain and audits; lead problem solving.

Education

Mechanical/Aerospace/Structural Eng degree
