The Opportunity

Are you ready to play a key role in ensuring smooth production operations at one of the UK's leading chilled food manufacturers?Walker & Son is looking for a Senior Materials Planner to lead by example, support our dynamic materials team, and help keep our production lines running efficiently and on schedule.

• Leading and coaching a team of Material Planners
• Managing the scheduling and supply of materials from short to long term
• Acting as the first point of escalation for material supply issues
• Representing the Planning team in NPD/EPD/feasibility meetings
• Driving continuous improvement and supplier performance
• Ensuring accurate ordering to meet production timelines and stock level targets
