Job summary

Qualifications

• Degree in Civil Engineering, Materials Science or similar.
• Strong experience with Microsoft Word and Excel.
• Extensive technical knowledge of construction materials and best practices.
• Previous experience on major projects.
• Familiarity with environmental assessment schemes (CEEQUAL, BREEAM Infrastructure).
• Training in Health and Safety Management.

Responsibilities

• Scrutinise and challenge client's technical standards relating to conventional structural materials.
• Evaluate tunnel linings, precast segments, SCL, TBM grouts, etc.
• Assess geotechnical materials including reuse of tunnel arisings.
• Promote sustainable materials and durability.
• Collaborate with Design House to influence material choices.
• Manage material approvals and support site teams and QA.
• Mentor junior team members and graduates.
