Morson Talent is seeking an experienced Materials Controller at our Stockport site to manage goods-in/out, stock records and logistics. This standalone stores role requires ownership of day-to-day materials control and collaboration with operations, procurement and suppliers.

The successful candidate will have proven experience in stores/warehouse/logistics, strong numeracy and attention to detail, and a proactive, independent working style.

Qualificações

• Proven experience in a similar Materials Controller, Stock Controller, Storesperson, Warehouse or Logistics role.
• Experience of maintaining materials or inventory records.
• Experience using an ERP, stock control or warehouse management system.
• Good computer literacy and confidence working with digital systems.
• Strong numeracy and literacy skills.
• Excellent attention to detail and a methodical approach to work.
• Good communication skills and the ability to build effective working relationships with suppliers and internal teams.
• The ability to coordinate and organise logistics with key suppliers.
• The confidence to work independently, use your own initiative and prioritise competing requirements.
• A flexible approach and willingness to support wider operational requirements when needed.

Responsabilidades

• Manage all goods-in and goods-out activities, both physically and electronically.
• Maintain stock records and material logs with system updates.
• Monitor stock levels and keep inventory data accurate.
• Coordinate deliveries, collections and repairable items.
• Prepare reports and KPIs.
• Raise orders with approved suppliers and support procurement.
• Support HSQE compliance and health and safety requirements.
• Support stores & logistics teams with planning and stock control.
• Assist with stocktakes and periodic audits.
