Job summary

Opus People Solutions Limited, recruiting on behalf of Northamptonshire Children's Trust, seeks an experienced MASH Team Manager to lead the Multi-Agency Safeguarding Hub in Northampton. You will oversee screening, decision-making and referrals for children and families, ensuring timely safeguarding responses and strong safeguarding practices.

The role offers hybrid working (2 days in office, 3 days remote) on a temporary basis, with a 37-hour week and an hourly rate of £42 umbrella, delivering

Qualifications

• Qualified Social Worker with current Social Work England registration.
• ASYE completed with at least 3 years' permanent experience as a statutory Children's Social Worker.
• Significant experience within Children's Services, including MASH, Assessment, or Safeguarding teams.
• Previous Management or Supervisory experience within a Social Work setting.
• Strong knowledge of relevant legislation, safeguarding procedures, and statutory guidance.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage a team within the Multi-Agency Safeguarding Hub.
• Oversee the assessment and screening of referrals relating to children and families.
• Provide clear management oversight and support to social workers and practitioners.
• Ensure safeguarding concerns are identified and responded to effectively and promptly.
• Work in partnership with internal teams and external agencies to promote positive outcomes for children.
• Monitor performance, quality assurance, and compliance with statutory requirements.
• Support service development and drive continuous improvement within the team.
