Elsevier in the United Kingdom is seeking a senior leader to own the strategic direction of the Marketing Technology ecosystem. You will ensure platforms deliver measurable value, align with business priorities, and support long-term growth through governance, investment planning, and cross-functional collaboration.

You will partner with Technology leadership, horizon-scan the MarTech landscape, manage budgets, negotiate contracts, and ensure platforms work together to drive ROI across marketing

Qualifications

• Experience leading marketing technology platforms at a strategic level.
• Proven vendor negotiation, contract management and budget ownership.
• Ability to translate business needs into technical requirements with cross-functional teams.
• Capability to build a coherent MarTech strategy across a fragmented tool landscape.
• Strong commercial acumen and ROI demonstration.
• Excellent stakeholder management through influence rather than authority.

Responsabilités

• Develop and own a multi-year Marketing Technology strategy and roadmap.
• Align MarTech with technology architecture, data and security standards.
• Horizon-scan the MarTech landscape for new tools and capabilities.
• Lead contract negotiations and renewals across the portfolio.
• Oversee licence and seat management across teams.
• Manage vendor relationships at a strategic level and ensure value delivery.
• Support budgeting, forecasting and business case development for MarTech investments.
• Act as the central connector among Platform Product Managers to ensure integrated platforms.
