Location: UK, London - Hybrid
Start Date: ASAP – End Date: 10th October 2025
Hours: 40 hours per week
My client is one of the top 5 global tech brands, seeking a Head of Public Sector Marketing responsible for creating and leading marketing strategies aimed at government agencies and public organisations.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead marketing projects by managing tasks and guiding workstreams to drive marketing outcomes.
- Conduct user research, market analysis, and gather insights to inform product and feature recommendations.
- Develop user journeys and lifecycle strategies in collaboration with different teams.
- Identify growth opportunities to increase user numbers, engagement, and adoption of features.
- Collaborate with sales and marketing teams to develop and execute marketing strategies and plans.
- Define project scopes, manage priorities, and allocate resources effectively.
- Set and measure goals, tracking success metrics.
- Plan and manage projects to ensure timely completion.
- Manage stakeholder interests, balancing priorities and providing updates.
- Proactively identify opportunities for process improvements and business growth.
- Solve problems using various approaches to find optimal solutions.
- Create new processes, methods, and features to address future challenges.
- Prioritize impactful ideas to drive growth and make confident business decisions.
Main focus areas
- Drive demand-generation activities such as events, social media, and advocacy programs.
- Track and analyze marketing effectiveness to monitor ROI and progress against objectives.
- Generate demand for products through integrated campaigns and marketing activities in the UK Public Sector.
- Create and execute marketing strategies for the UK Public Sector, working with multiple stakeholders to craft messaging, content, and channel strategies.
To be considered, you must have:
- Proven senior B2B marketing experience, ideally within the public sector or government, along with tech marketing experience.
- Proven success in project management, including budget management and agency coordination.
- Complex stakeholder relationship management skills.
- Strong problem-solving, strategic thinking, and analytical abilities, with a focus on data-driven optimization.
- In-depth knowledge of cloud, advertising, and productivity tools.
