FieldGoods is expanding its in-house marketing function to scale demand for its sustainable frozen food brand. The role focuses on execution with autonomy, helping the team grow the brand, drive direct-to-consumer sales, and elevate content across Shopify, email, social and PR.
The candidate will own content, CRM, and influencer collaboration, with scope to grow into Head of Marketing as the company scales.
Launched in 2022 by brothers Elliot & Sam, FieldGoods is a sustainable food company on a mission to reinvent frozen.
Frozen has a reputation problem. Birds Eye have moved the needle on peas, but the broader aisle still languishes — nearly half of consumers associate frozen food with heavy processing and additives. That perception gap is exactly where FieldGoods lives.
Our recipes are all written by Elliot and every bit of food is handmade by a wonderful team chefs, with real ingredients, frozen fresh. Every part of the supply chain is handled with care: free-range meat, regenerative flour, sustainably sourced fish, to name a few. The mission is simple but ambitious — flip the script on frozen entirely, and make the freezer aisle what it should be: a more delicious, more nutritious, less wasteful alternative to chilled. FieldGoods is for the love of food, and we won't hear anything else.
About the Role
Until now, our marketing has been founder-led, brought to life by a fractional team and a handful of agencies. That's worked brilliantly — but as we've scaled production capacity, we're now in a position to scale demand like never before.
We're at an exciting inflection point: a brilliant product, a clear mission, nationwide independent distribution, and thriving direct-to-consumer sales. What we need now is to grow our marketing function and to level up execution and bring our mission to life in a way we haven't been able to before.
This role suits someone hungry to be part of something and who can see the potential for the brand, the business, and themselves. It's executional at its core, but comes with real autonomy and room to grow into the function as the team scales.

About you
Experience
There is no hard and fast here - if you’re right for the role, you're right for the role. As a guide we would look for 4 - 7 years experience in a hands-on marketing role, ideally within DTC, ecommerce, or food & beverage. You should be confident running CRM and paid/organic social independently, and comfortable owning a Shopify site day-to-day. This is a role for someone who wants to build, not manage from a distance.
We are looking for the right attitude as much as the right experience. If you cover most bases but not all, we would still love to hear from you.
Progression & what's in it for you
This is FieldGoods' first in-house marketing hire — which means you'll be shaping the function as much as executing within it. As the business and team grow, so will this role: we see a clear path from Senior Marketing Manager into Head of Marketing and beyond, for the right person.
