Job summary

Calibre Search is recruiting a Senior Maritime Engineer in London to lead complex maritime and infrastructure projects, acting as Technical Lead and driving growth with senior leadership. You will mentor engineers, shape technical standards, and build strong client relationships while working with project managers and design teams.

Successful candidates will be Chartered (CEng) or on track for Chartership, with a Civil/Structural background and a passion for maritime engineering.

Qualifications

• Chartered status (CEng) with ICE or IStructE is required.
• Degree or MSc in Civil/Structural Engineering is required.

Responsibilities

• Lead complex maritime and infrastructure projects from concept to construction.
• Act as Technical Lead across project stages and mentor junior staff.
• Develop and maintain client relationships and identify new business opportunities.
• Prepare and review technical proposals, fee estimates, and tenders.
• Support recruitment and help grow the engineering team.
• Represent the business at client meetings and industry events.
