Job summary

The Civil Works Alliance (CWA) seeks a Sub Agent to join our Marine preconstruction team in London, ahead of mobilisation to Suffolk, to support Sizewell C’s offshore construction preparations. You will help develop construction methods, assess risks, and ensure readiness for dredging, rock placement, heavy lifting, and piling campaigns in the North Sea.

Reporting to the Marine Preconstruction Manager, you will coordinate ECI activities, develop methodologies, and review subcontractor solutions.

Qualifications

• Experience in a marine or preconstruction environment.
• Experience working for contractor or principal contractor on engineering/construction projects.
• Good appreciation of programme, cost and risk during planning and delivery.
• Strong organisational skills; able to manage multiple tasks/interfaces.
• Effective communication and collaboration with designers, subcontractors and clients.
• Ability to take ownership with limited supervision.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate subcontractor ECI activities for a defined section of works.
• Develop construction methodologies and perform constructability reviews for marine works.
• Review proposed construction solutions for safety, programme, cost and risk impact.
• Identify and manage risks and opportunities for the listed work section.
• Develop scopes of work and technical requirements for subcontract tender packages.
• Assist mobilisation and readiness planning as project transitions to offshore construction.
• Maintain records, reports and technical documentation for assigned workstreams.
• Promote a positive safety culture and support continuous improvement.
