RHL Recruitment is seeking two Senior Marine Designers for a 6-month contract with a leading oil and gas EPC contractor. The role supports a Saudi Aramco offshore project, coordinating with multidisciplinary teams and mentoring junior designers.

You will work in a hybrid Surrey office setup, liaising with global teams to meet milestones and budgets while delivering specialized marine design work using Aveva Marine.

Formación

• Marine & Structural Designer with formal qualification and/or significant on-the-job training.
• Minimum 10 years’ experience in marine design.
• Strong proficiency in Aveva Marine.
• Demonstrable leadership experience managing remote teams.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
• Willing to work 3 days per week in the Surrey office.

Responsabilidades

• Support and lead within the Marine Team, working on a Saudi Aramco project.
• Liaise with other engineering disciplines, clients and vendors.
• Coordinate with global project teams to deliver work within timelines and budgets.
• Provide technical guidance and mentor Junior designers.
• Manage and oversee remote design teams.
• Develop project notes, guides, and training materials to ensure consistent deliverables.
• Organise team schedules and allocate resources to meet milestones.
• Break down project scopes to drawing level and estimate resource requirements.
• Work effectively in a hybrid office-based environment.
