We are expanding our Marine Engineering capability, seeking a Senior Design Engineer to lead concept and detailed design of geared transmission systems, create test methods, and deliver compliant, high-quality solutions for global maritime programmes.

Qualifications

• Understanding of product design methodologies and engineering analysis techniques.
• Knowledge of manufacturing processes and production methods applicable to mechanical engineering products.
• Understanding of engineering materials, material selection, and associated processing techniques.
• Familiarity with ISO, AGMA, DIN, FKM, and DNV design codes.
• Awareness of Machinery Safety Regulations and their application in design.
• Working knowledge of SAP for engineering data management and control.

Responsabilités

• Design and develop geared transmission systems and components.
• Produce new designs and modify existing products to meet requirements.
• Develop gearbox test equipment, validation methods and procedures.
• Interpret customer specifications and GD&T requirements.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and lead engineering activities.
• Ensure designs comply with safety and industry standards.
• Prepare and maintain technical documentation, BOMs and drawings.
• Provide technical support with Production Engineering and Supply Chain.
• Contribute to DFMEA/PFMEA and CI initiatives to improve quality and manufacturability.
