Job summary

Qualifications

• ACII-qualified or actively progressing towards ACII.
• Educated to at least A-Level standard.

Responsibilities

• Handle, adjust and negotiate settlements of Syndicates standard claims.
• Manage complex claims under referral to Head of First Party Claims/Head of International Claims.
• Ensure claims follow Westfield Specialty guidelines to deliver exceptional service.
• Liaise with brokers, legal representatives, service providers and coverholders.
• Organise broker relationship meetings and report trends.
• Work with actuarial and underwriting teams on renewals and reserving.
• Provide MI and portfolio analysis to underwriters.
• Monitor claims inventory and ensure proper reserving.
• Oversee monthly bordereaux for delegated accounts.
• Mentor junior staff and drive process improvements.
