Job summary

CBSbutler is supporting a leading UK advanced engineering and defence manufacturer to appoint a Senior Project Engineer who will lead complex engineering and manufacturing projects from concept through production and customer acceptance.

You will own multiple projects, coordinate cross‑functional teams, manage schedules, risks and change control, and ensure delivery of products to quality and regulatory standards. ERP readiness and continuous improvement are key components of the role.

Qualifications

• Experience delivering engineering or manufacturing projects in defence or regulated industries.
• Ability to coordinate cross-functional teams and manage complex schedules.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead manufacturing engineering projects from concept to production.
• Develop integrated project plans and manage schedules.
• Coordinate activities across engineering, manufacturing, quality, and supply chain.
• Manage risks, issues, changes, and configuration control.
• Build relationships with customers and key stakeholders.
• Deliver progress reports and technical presentations.
• Support manufacturing readiness and production planning.
• Contribute to ERP and manufacturing system improvements.
