Job summary

G&P Group, based in Birmingham Tyseley, is seeking an experienced Maintenance Supervisor to lead maintenance across its expanding operation. You will ensure machinery and site services are maintained safely and efficiently to support production.

Working with production, technical and engineering teams, you will oversee preventative maintenance, respond to breakdowns, drive continuous improvement, and mentor the maintenance team while complying with health and safety requirements.

Qualifications

• Experience leading maintenance in manufacturing or industrial settings.
• Hands-on with mechanical and electrical fault-finding.
• Proven ability to coach and develop maintenance teams.
• Skilled in planning, prioritising, and managing schedules.
• Strong understanding of preventative maintenance and reliability.
• Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities.
• Proactive, organized and safety-focused approach.
• Experience with maintenance projects and KPI reporting.

Responsibilities

• Lead, supervise, and develop the maintenance team.
• Plan and coordinate preventative maintenance, servicing, and inspections.
• Respond to equipment breakdowns and provide hands-on technical support.
• Maintain maintenance schedules, records, and performance reports.
